Ohhh....all it took was a teaspoon of yeast and some plastic tubing to turn a cheap overly sweet grape juice into a good purchase. :)

That was a great pic of the mooters in Houston. Maybe next time, folks should meet at Hooters. Then we'd have Hooters Mooters.

Oh wow, there it is. I see 2J beat us to the posting. I'm home. There's another one. of those pics. I'm going to find it now. Hair, they have a booth in the stadium that does those for free. Pretty cool.

My stomach muscles hurt after the last run...I wasn't sure why.
Looks like I'm not going to get a run in today, though. I'm mad about it, but there's not much I can do. One of the "certain brothers" invited a bunch of other siblings and friends over while I was posting last time, and by the time I'd realized that's what he was doing, I didn't feel like I could call everyone back and tell them to leave me alone for awhile. *sigh* He just assumed I was OK with it.
They're outside for a few minutes, so I'm sneaking in here to post, but looks like they'll be around for awhile longer and then Margaret is spending the night.
If it weren't for the fact that there isn't any way for me to sneak off and just quietly run, I'd do it...but the treadmill is really loud, and I wouldn't be able to play music or the tape without being even louder.
Hopefully I can get it in tomorrow, probably in the morning after church and before we play for the St. Patrick's dinner at eleven, but I'm kinda afraid I won't make it, and I feel wayyy behind. GRRRRRR!

And my mom read Alexander's "Chronicles of Prydain" to us, but I rather liked them - of course, I was ten. I think that's the right name for them. Includes The Black Cauldron? They WERE very entertaining with lots of unique characters...but I wasn't as impressed with the writing when I went back to them. I was in a particularly critical mood at the time, though. Probably wouldn't hurt to read a few of them again.

Do you remember "The 5000 Hats of Bartholemew Cubbins"?
Back shortly with... interesting stories of evening's festivities.

LOL! Isn't that the Charlie's Angels pose? :)
To: JenB
Yes; and even better IMO was Bartholomew and the Ooblick :)

I liked that one! I haven't seen that in years!I just reread it tonight after I posted that :) I have this children's treasury which includes it. How about Goodnight Moon?

Well, it was.;)
To: Fedora
Oh, yes, the ooblick! I love good children's stories!
We had a birthday party for one of the brothers, who's 10 today. Our- family friends, pretty much adopted aunt and uncle - came over, and they were in costume for something they'd been at earlier. So we all dressed up - the sibs, my parents, everyone - and we had an impromptu costume birthday party.
Sometimes I think I might miss these guys when I go away.

Good evening! Great pics!
We made it home safely... just finishing up some Rudy's barbecue that we picked up and brought home.
To: JenB
That sounds like a fun party! Did you wear a costume? :)

LOL!

Those are really cool! Charlie's Angels eh? - So did you have a good time? - Are there more pics???
To: Fedora
Yep! I have this generic medieval princess thing leftover from a Halloween charity event, and carried one of my dragons (the beanie Chinese one) on my arm. It really called for a pointy hat but I don't have any of those.
Am thinking of coming down with vague-unspecified-illness, I want to skip church tomorrow because we have a guest preacher I'm... less than fond of, and an hour trip there is not much fun when you don't want to go.

I still say you guys have got to see "The 5000 Fingers of Dr. T". It's incredibly corny, but a hoot just the same.
