i don't know. I'll ask Cindy. Or we can scope the place and check that out on Friday night. This is a really big place though. Lots of walking even from the door. One good thing is that the rodeo starts and goes on for about 2 hours before Randy Travis comes on.

Well, I put in a really comfortable pair of natural python boots.
You're so funny.

So we're going to the rodeo too? (LOL I can just hear you thinking "Of course we are, you dolt!") Seriesly, I thought we'd just go to the show.
Randy Travis is like half-time, right?
My mom has a handicap tag...

I could stick in my ropers.... but I just never moved into the decade of ropers. I'd rather be old-fashioned.

Heeyyyy... howdy howdy...
Long nights and long days. [sigh] Well, this morning I think things got mostly recovered from the clusterfarg last night.
Had a staff meeting this morning to try to explain it all. I don't think I did.
To: 2Jedismom
Mom has a handicap tag? Is it movable? Or stationary? Hmmm.
Yes, girl, the rodeo is the first and then after is the Randy Travis part. Not half time. The only thing about missing the beginning of the rodeo is that there's always start with a big patriotic to do, with riders on horseback flying around with stars and stripes and stuff, that makes me choke up every time. When we meet on Friday afternoon we'll work the details out better.
To: Ramius
Good evening, Ramius. Glad you're back safely.
My parents are trying to persuade me that we ought to go to Chicago for my birthday. (?)....

Ropers are for wussies.
Are you bringing your camera? G got the digital in the divorce. I got the video camera though. And there's a way for me to load still pics from it to the computer. I just have to read the book and figure out how.
To: Ramius
Hey!!! I'm glad to see ya!!!
Good thing you're mostly recovered. If they didn't get it when you tried to explain it they're just ignorant. I got it. And I don't even work there! :-)

Learning piano is a lot like learning typing to me, and I'm used to typing so I find that easier to pick up than guitar. As for guitar style, I'm starting with acoustical first. Later if I ever master the basics of that I might try electric, but that'll be a while yet. If piano is like typing, I'd probably do OK, except for not following the rules exactly...
Acoustic, OK. That's all I have. I was kinda meaning a more specific style, as in music genre...or are you pretty much concentrating on learning chords right now?
I learned some classical and other fingerstyle, but never went as far as I shoulda with it...partly because they're essentially solo styles, and I was starting to play with others more. Then Dad started wanting to play swing and I gave up. ;-) Barre chords are HARD! My little brother who's only been playing a year or so seems to have no problem with 'em, though. Sigh. Ain't that always the way?

I got my camera in my truck already. Well, matter of fact, everything except the food is in the truck already... okay, and this laptop.
I got 2 pair of ropers for freebies when I worked at the radio station. Yeah, they've been around a while... but, I can't find the red ones... I think Jill made off with 'em at some point. All I got now is gray lace-ups and I think those are SO dorky! The radio station job was very low paying but it was nice cause I always got free western wear for promo stuff!

Hi there! {{{WN}}}
Today I've been kinda' off. Kinda' distant. I've been stressed over this badness and to have it over is a huge relief, but it's also very sad. The whole things just sucks in every possible way.
I'm OK... just need to sit and chill for a while.
