It's nice here...never gets unbearably cold for very long. Sure, it's gonna snow, but the whole world shuts down when it does, which is kinda nice and besides, I dried ALL my laundry on the line today! LOL
I grew up down there in Alvin, you know...not too much difference in the seasons. Here, you have nice distinct seasons without any real extremes.
I love Tulsa.

I have a big scoop thing that you push...good for moving fairly large amounts of snow. It's almost like a short sled with a handle...you put it til it's full, then tilt it back and slide it along to wherever you want to dump it. Works well.

Steve's dad had a snow blower and would blow everyone's for them on the block because they were all elderly and they got a ticket or something if they didn't blow the sidewalks in front of their houses!
No kidding!
I gotta go...Steve'll be home soon. I want to get the dishes put up out of the washer before he gets here.
See you in the morning!

Good night!

I broiled some salmon filets in a lemon pepper marinade and had some green peas. Ate it fast cause I wanted to go the the Townhall meetup being held in town. Headed out, but the snow got SO heavy I decided to go back home. Wasn't interested in slogging through several inches of snow on the trip back home. They hadn't started clearing Rt. 9, and I didn't want to deal with the traffic hurtling down that road with the slush!
I'm a weenie when it comes to winter driving. Don't mind going out once the roads are cleared, but don't want to deal with the other drivers who come flying by. Don't want to be in their way when they start sliding around!

Mmmmm...salmon. I love salmon...tuna steaks, too. Haven't had fresh fish in awhile.
I'm just finishing my tea...got a few more swallows left. Then I need to get to sleep!

Hi all! Home from work now. Long day. But, I did mail packages to the troops before I went to the office.

Thelma and Louise huh? I saw it once.... sorta.... it didn't keep my attention too well. Musta been sewing while watching or something. I remember about 3 scenes. Wasn't there a truck blown up? I liked that.

Hair. I know this is controversial. But, A River Runs Through It was more boring than Thelma and Louise.
.........unless we're just wantin' to watch Brad Pitt.

But, A River Runs Through It was more boring than Thelma and Louise. I can proudly say I've never watched all of either one.

Got an email from PurpleQ. She had a terrible weekend and is buried in work this week. But, looking forward to Lone Star Moot!
She's not gonna get to come see me for President's Day weekend though! :-(
