A frisbee tournament huh? That sounds fun. Be sure and let us know how that turns out. :-)
My kids are good. Jill turned 28 on Monday. Myranda has spring break next week and Jill is flying her over to Alabama to spend the week with her. They are both excited about that. I'm glad that they've gotten so close in the last several months. That's how sisters are supposed to be I think. :-)

LOL... the queen of elves works for no one. She doesn't share her secret home-cookin' recipes either! But, ya'll are way off about the lembas. If you wanna know what they are you oughtta ask an elf. I think them hard yukky cookies are what those dwarves eat. Cram, they are!

I don't have magazines or knives and snips. When was I supposed to get knives and snips? Yikes! I didn't know any were coming and haven't gotten anything!

See tagline.Uh-oh--looks like my question reignited the Wafer War :) Hmmm--for some reason I'm feeling hungry about now. . .
To: Wneighbor
Like you would know anything about it. It's us elf queens that make it and guard the secret recipe. It's cornbread. There's only one way to settle this: bake-off! :) Everybody post their lembas recipes :)

Ancient Chinese Nabisco secret.

I didn't know any were coming and haven't gotten anything!I may have started all the confusion, since I've been shipping out knives and shears to whoever needs them for packages. But I know I did mail you 15 lbs of old magazines. Don't hold up your shipments just for them, use them when you make up new packages.

I knew about the magazines. I had 15 left from another donor so I divided them up in these packages. And your's I'll put in the next packages. I didn't have as much to spend this time... but, they're gettin' homemade fudge! :-)

Ancient Chinese Nabisco secret.Ah, so that's what the secret ingredient in lembas is. . .

Ancient Elvish secret, huh? :)
To: Fedora
Uh... no...
no Calgon.
You're gonna have to list a lot of ingredients to narrow this down to the *secret* ones! :-)

Well, I am encouraged! Thanks for the report, sounds like it might be worth a look in the theater! :)
I'm also a sucker for horse stories...read every one I could find when I was a kid, and they still haven't lost their magic.

Two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions, on a sesame-seed bun?

To: Fedora
I read all the Black Stallion and Red(?) Stallion books, plus the "Golden Boy" westerns. "Black Beauty," of course, "Misty of Chincoteague(sp?)" (and the other ones in that series) "Black Gold"--those are the ones I remember off the top of my head.

The Sharpes series is GOOD!! I actually like the books better for the stories, but the DVDs are just plain EYE CANDY! ;o)
I had totally forgotten about Patriot Games, which is where I first saw Sean Bean!
