I saw Clay Aiken on Saturday night (wonderful!) and I saw The Passion yesterday (life changing!). And strangely enough, I talked to one of my dearest friends from Ohio for almost 3 hours last night after not communicating with him for over a year. YES!!! You had a phenomenal weekend there Ruthy! So, you've told me about your Ohio friend before... how'd that go? :-)

Good morning!
I have decided that there are many humorless bricks on Free Republic that I would love to see get a wedgie.
The whole WORLD is funny, and I am stickin' to that belief.

What gave you the clue?
To: Professional Engineer
In my case it'd be more like a rabbit hole, but yes.

Caiphas answered him, but there were no subtitles of what he said.Don't know if anyone has responded to you on this one. I'm just now catching up from being gone for the weekend.
Caiphas's answer wasn't in subtitles because it was one of the things Mel changed in response to to the critics saying the movie was Anti-Semitic. The response he gives is what the High Priest said in Scriptures "Let His blood be on us and our children" meaning the Jews. Of course Caiphas is trying to spread the blame at that point because ALL the Jews weren't calling for Christ to be crucified, though there were people inciting the crowd to do so.

"Just wish we woulda been nominated for more!" Yes, LOTR was really a monumental achievement in movie making...I suppose the academy probably counts the awards, when they noticed they were at 11, they figured enough, maybe.
Yes, plenty of opportunities for best supporting actor...much of the cast, from Viggo to Ian, actually could have qualified.

Speaking of working outside, here is the completed coop! It's in two pieces, the lattice part disconnects for easy moving. Now I can stand up inside! It still fits inside a garden bed.

We used to have it all set up on haybales, you know? For insulation over the winter.
But they won't need that now that spring is nearly here and the summer is coming. We've taken the plastic off (it mostly shredded off during the Big Windy the other day.) This should give them a nice cool place to hang out.
They seem to like it.
We did all of this with scraps given to us by our neighbor a long time ago. Except the plastic lattice...I bought that and had it cut at Lowes.
Our back yard looks so dreary...I can't wait till it gets green again.

Snow tubing is popular around these parts! It's great for those who value their knees and legs and don't want to get up on skis and go hurtling downhill. You can just sit on the tube and slide! Many ski resorts have tubing hills that have built in 'lanes' so folks stay in their areas and don't go smashing in to others. Tubes are just about as popular as sleds and toboggans.

I'm so glad you're getting that cool Hawaiian dress. It's gonna look great on you, especially since you'll be comfortable in it.
To: 2Jedismom
Are you
sure this is a chicken?

It looks more like a small emu.
To: Professional Engineer
Emu attack?
