See... it's right... Sonya has been with you through *everything* in your life. I dunno. For you that just *sounds* right! :-)
Because you have determined that you want a fun wedding for all involved it will be that way. IMO - it is the formal stuff or the rigidness of some wanting things perfect that make the guests uncomfortable. You are not of that mind so I don't think the choices you'd make - no matter what - would be *not* fun.
Most people just don't *enjoy* the ceremonial formality of stuff. Can't see that happening here! :-D

I love those kind of prints. I wear them a lot. I just don't have shirts of that style in them. In summer I like sleeveless dresses made out of that stuff.... cool and cotton. I love it! Mostly for shirts I like ones that just pull over - not button up... so most of my summery shirts are tank tops and t-shirts.

It will be fun!
I am trying to keep a balance between underplanning it as if it isn't important, and overplanning it so it becomes more about the details than the wedding.
It is important to get married. Matching stationary and table decorations and corsages aren't. Not for me.

Good afternoon! Still raining off and on here.

I am trying to keep a balance between underplanning it as if it isn't important, and overplanning it so it becomes more about the details than the wedding. And I am trying to keep my mouth shut and not tell you things. LOL
Reason being, it sounds like the wedding you want was much the same as the one Dennis and I had. And I thought ours was great. But, I also think that I may be projecting my idea into your mind!
The only thing I told people was come ready to have fun. And if there was a color scheme at all it was bright colors like a Mardi Gras party! Matter of fact, IIRC Peggy, PurpleQ's mom who was my maid of honor wore a Hawaiin shirt... gotta go check the photos now to see... I'm curious.

Yep, Peggy and a couple of other people had Hawaiian prints at our wedding. I never thought about that till today. :-D Our napkins and plates were the regular grocery store stuff. But, we got bright colors.

(GO NIMRODS!) OK, but they won't go very fast.

Warm here, but not sunny. Good day for getting things done around the house.
Which reminds me, I am going to be moving my 'puter pretty soon. Not sure how long I will be offline. PE, though, is not moving his. He will still be online, but helping me with mine :)

Hmm... moving for a better view, or did you get a new desk, or what?
We lost power for ten seconds and the network went down... it's back now, of course.

I don't think I've seen a pic of msdrby. Nice to see her! I like her hair, it looks just like mine ;-)

The parking lot lights were having a weird effect on the camera flash...

Aw! Your pictures came out good! My camera is still in the pickup. I'm not being lazy - I'm up to my eyeballs in housework projects.
We had fun didn't we?!?!
I'm going to have to post some later. We can tell who had ya'll's camera by who isn't in your pictures! :-)

WN, I don't mind any suggestions at all! Sonya does it too... I may cringe when I hear suggestions that sound like a lot of fru-fru.... but parts of the ideas seep in, and comes out later as a plan.

HA! - Ooops!
My kingdom for an "r".
