about something I wrote for my novel.

It's part of an ancient poem, called, "The Oldest Song". It's a poem of oral history, from a time that only the Dragons remember:

For Six Days, And Six Nights,
the Children Played with Us in the Skies.

Then came their Mother.

And there were no skies.
