Ok, so we document them and then leave the doors to the border open. Just what will that do to stem the tide of close to 1,000,000 illegals crossing the border yearly?

I don't think that is the strategy. Anyhow, we can proceed with a plan thought out and developed by the administration or centennial. I may be going out on a limb here but I think I'll stick with the admin on this one.
