"I was so disgusted by Elijah Wood and Sean Astin's commentary track on "The Two Towers" DVD, I had to turn it off. " Thanks for telling us about that. I have the DVD, but haven't yet to listened to the actor's track. Now, I'll skip it.
I have noticed that this commentary track on DVD releases is the newest way for the leftists to insert their world view. Even on old films. I got the "1776" DVD, and discovered that there was an entire scene cut from the original film, ridiculing conservatives (with goose-stepping choreographed into the scene.) The director remarked that President Nixon asked that it be removed from the film, and they complied. Imagine that happening today......

I thought the commentary track on"Fellowship of the Ring" was interesting, and added to my enjoyment of the movie, but the entire "Two Towers" track is a mishmash, with a lot of "He's a wonderful actor, blah blah, I worked so hard on this scene, bitch, bitch, aren't I great, Isn't he great, blah, blah, blah..."
The only remotely interesting comments were by Miranda Otto, and while they were interesting, they weren't in the least memorable.
