FWIW, both my daughters met their husbands via Yahoo Personals...they're both great guys..solid, conservative, good careers..everything I could want in sons-in-law..so go figure?...

Professional women over thirty have a problem. They are competing for a shrinking pool of available professional men. Their criteria are rigid: the guy must be older but no more than a few years older, he must be in good physical condition, be taller than her, and make significantly more money than her.

What they refuse to see is that the small group of guys they're chasing, if unmarried, have little interest in marrying THEM. Many are having too much fun being chased by desperate women. Many have gone thru one divorce and are not willing to go thru another. Many prefer dating a 20-something store-clerk who would actually work hard to keep HIM happy. Etc, Etc
