I recall an instance where Sybil referred to Basil Fawlty as "An aging brilliantined stick insect." Some how that came to mind when I read this post.(BTW, that was in the "Austrailian Girl" skit.)

That was one of the funniest half hours ever!!!! I did envy his trying to turn on the bathroom light. Cleese got paid for that???
