wanted: Free News Streamer

I not very message board savvy, so please let me know if I am posting this in the wrong place and I will modify in the future....

Im looking for a free news streamer that runs on your desktop computer. I have seen these, but don't remember any news outlets that provide them. Any recommendations?

Fox has a news ticker at their site you can download for free.

The BBC version I have is "Windows 95 and Windows NT 4", and it runs fine on Windows XP

One thing that is not apparent about the BBC ticker is that if you double click twice on the ticker item the story will open in your browser.
