" The case of the car salesman would be an interesting read."

I know that I kept a copy of the story from back then because I was still working at a car dealership as the finance manager and I could have been a possible target of prosecution. I have no idea where to find it now though.

It is bizarre, but hey, it's the government.

Please disregard my first response to your reply to me, the one you wrote about pissing in my wheaties. I just realized I'm going to try to get through this year without FR pissing matches, and it's January one, so I'm backing off on our current FR PM. Happy New Year, Friend.

sounds good to me. I think I pretty much fired the first shot with my snippy "Can you read" comment anyway.
Happy '04 to you and yours.

I think this is because of "time traders" mostly with 401k's - they found a way to cash in on some time delays. I think there were 6 or so employess at one of the big companies making a killing and then the other 9,999 employees realized it was THEIR money getting ripped off.

While browsing, I noted your quote from Lincoln. Please note he spent 600,000 lives after uttering such hypocrisy.

Yup, I know. We discussed Lincoln's hypocrisy throughout the thread.

He certainly was no hero of mine.

Too bad he didn't believe those words (apparently) - if he had, America today would be a different place, conforming more closely with our Constitution I believe.
