Or, 'Prove it?'
In regards to the above discussion these are what I call rhetorical questions, or statements disguised as a question.
Anytime somebody says, 'Don't you think that...' I say, that is not a question. You are making a statment. Make it if you like. I am not interested in making a counter-statement.

You can skip all verbal response and just bash the idiot in the head. However, if you want to respond at a philosophical level, you would point out the illogical nature of the proposition. And that explains the reasoning behind your "No it isn't," response. You don't need to give any reason. But it's good to know the reason.
