I gotta tell ya ... sitting on the stoop chit-chatting with the neighbors and having a smoke with my heavily-laced schooner of coffee made for a nice start to Christmas Day.

(After talking with the folks, of course.)

I'd given it up the past three weeks so I could sing Midnight Mass. May try keeping it to a minimum (did make a difference) but not ready to give it up yet.

Trust you and yours had a splendid holiday. I had a little Christmas Miracle of a day myself. =)
