I'm fairly close to Kentucky who has some fairly cheap taxes. They passed a law here to confiscate your car if you're caught bringing over $60.00 worth across the state line. The insane b*st*rds have gone over the edge.

Yes they have. OTOH, what is their probable cause to find out if you have over $60.00 in your car. If they are camping out in Kentucky watching who buys what and then following you across the state liine the Kentucky authorities might have something to say about that.

There have been lots of stories over the years about cops in one state arresting cops or revenue folks from other states for doing that.
