"I am the extended middle finger on the fist of life."Many of my taglines begin their life as text in a reply. It was this way with this one. If I may bask in my own vanity for a moment, I think I'm proudest of this one. When I wrote it, I knew I had a classic. I went to Google to see if this phrase had ever appeared anywhere on the web before.
Nope.
Yahoo! Paydirt! It wasn't even one of those phrases that you read somewhere and gets lodged in your subconscious. This was a geniune original. So spunky! So disobedient! So.... Laz!
I looked it over again. The very concept of the 'fist of life' was boggling enough.
I may not have successfully lured a_perfect_lady with it, but, it was a good tagline after all.
It was a good tagline after all.

Thank you SO MUCH, this is one of the greatest things that's ever happened to me, to be included among such an esteemed group. And I mean it!
It is also great to re-read all the great taglines, and see some excellent ones I never encountered before.
As you know, ladyinred, I really think you take the cake with "If all the world's a stage, I want to operate the trap door".
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL FREEPERS & LURKERS, AND BEST WISHES FOR A HEALTHY & HAPPY NEW YEAR!

"I may not have successfully lured a_perfect_lady with it...."
Hmmm, that peeked my natural FReeper curiosity, which then triggered my excellent FReeper investigative skills honed by years of Internet sleuthing verifying if indeed the posted FR article is on the level or not....
I found an opus, a two-hundred plus posting opus of FReeper fame, words of longing, heartfelt "don't go's" and insistant assertions of "you'll be back in a week" in a pitiful dodge of the icy cold reality of ... loss. Oh, the humanity....
All this seems to have taken place not that long ago, while the rest of Free Republic went about the business of ridiculing and vanquishing the leftist/dem/liberals in The Arena, undermining the cultural Marxists in every quarter, outside the walls this FReeper saga was taking place....
In relative obscurity....
Do you still carry this torch Laz? What happened here ... ?
