Mmmmm. I think I've seen these displayed in elegant pastry shops. They are mounded and have tiny multicolor sugar balls sprinkled all over them.

I know exactly what your talking about, but our honey balls are the size of marbles. You simply cannot stop eating them once you start. The above recipe makes approximately 800 little honey balls. I believe what you're thinking of is more in line with something Martha Stewart might tackle, stacked high on a footed platter and drizzled with spun sugar - not quite something Quilla and her little sister would tackle. ;-)
