Well, I'm sort of stuck with the 12 guage. I'm sending the wife and child to California to visit the relatives, so there goes my Model 1911 until next year (I have my heart set on the Kimber Custom series black).
Damn, I didn't know a goat could be so deadly.
Nice to see Willie Green in top form, as usual, btw. Maybe we can turn this into a mass transit thread so he can feel at home.
Be Seeing You,
Chris

I have my heart set on the Kimber Custom series Before you do, you may want to check out the new offerings from Colt. This is not the Colt of a few years ago; they've really turned things around over there.

Launch some 12ga. Buckshot at LONG range some time...you may be amazed.
Also, a Poly-Choke does some wonderful things for "reach" in any gauge and load...I once dropped a large Pheasant at 100 yards with a 20 ga. set on Extra Full. You will love owning one...until you blow it off with a slug, forgetting to open up the setting.

.45 Springfield Champion cocked and locked,
spare mag in belt pack, may throw some loose rounds
in that zipper pocket since the threat condition is high.
4" folder on belt,7"tungston carbide scribe in shirt pocket, mini mag light, gas mask, radiation pills,
tinfoil hat, yep I'm all set, sure would like to carry the shotgun but don't think the shoppers
at Wally world would like to see it slung across my back
with a piece of rope.
Now just got to go out and warm up the personel carrier.
Maybe put the SKS and the four thirty round mags behind the seat, keep the 70round drum locked in, I'm gonna have to get a M-2 for the roof mount someday.
Ahh, shopping is turning into such work.
Remember how in Heinlein's book "Stranger in a Strange land", the people lived in armored enclaves and traveled between them in armored car/planes?
OoOoOoOo!
