Return of the King, the third installment in Michael Jackson's Lord of the Rings trilogy, has racked up a stunning $US57.6 million (NZD $98 million) opening day box office take.

Wow! Well, I did my part with two viewings yesterday.

We'll be seeing it again on Saturday. More than glad to help it break the $1.8 billion mark. I wasn't that impressed with Titanic anyway - I thought Leo's acting left much to be desired.
