That's okay. I'm not much to look at anyway. ;)
Feeling a touch blue this evening, I guess. So poetry is nice to soothe my troubles.

Listening to the Chairman now, in fact. But thank you!
"Just As Though You Were Here". That should help, along with a little sleep. :)

Love is The Power
Her skin is that white of which the Irish have sung,
pale, so pale you can trace veins like lines upon a map.
I trace a tiny pulsing blue line with the tip of my tongue,
and watch her shiver in silent pleasure in my gentle trap.
My hands caress her, and guide her into loves many forms,
and she softly protests not in each, as we both joyously burn.
Whats to say is an accepted, or even a nearly norm,
and why should we take time to think, as each takes they varied turn?
The salty taste of the last sweet kiss and the heat of the next I await,
and know that I, like she, is where we want to truly, truly be.
Our breaths move in and out of time as does our perception of fate,
each more alive then we have ever been, falling into a welcoming sea.
A shudder, shared cries, and a rolling earthquake of our shared souls,
and we sunder our universe into scintillating debris as we hold tight.
Convulsive limbs hold us together, as salvos rocket down each nerve in rolls,
shredding our minds, until only the spent bodies at peace seem right.

Your hands are explores, find me, teasing me, touching my very center,
bring flames to race along every nerve, lifting me until I think I must scream,
not sure that Im not, and caring little either way, giving in return.
I rejoice in your own fire, your own moment of passions flame,
and I want to hold you there on the peak until you cry out with me,
a fusion, welding us into one soul in that moment with no resistance.
Have mercy Trike! What a thing to wake up to this morning. I think you're the cause of global warming. ;-)

Good morning!
Taking a page out of Darksheare's book this morning .. this was on my CD player during my morning commute today. Apropo ..
Don't Let Me Be Lonely Tonight
James Taylor
Do me wrong, do me right
Tell me lies but hold me tight
Save your goodbyes for the morning light
But don't let me be lonely tonight
Say goodbye, and say hello
It's sure enough good to see you, but it's time to go
Don't say yes, but please don't say no
I don't want to be lonely tonight
Go away then, damn you, go on and do as you please
But you ain't going to see me getting down on my knees
I'm undecided and your heart's been divided
You've been turning my world upside down
Do me wrong, do me right
Go on and tell me lies but hold me tight
Save your goodbyes for the morning light
But don't let me be lonely tonight
I dont want to be lonely tonight
No, I dont want to be lonely tonight

Morning Colonel.
I've always liked James Taylor's songs but never cared for his singing. He's one of the singers that I listen more to the words than the music.

Me too. I'm a lyrics guy. If I don't like the singer I can just sing louder in the car!

I'm doing a little better this morning. Thanks for your kind wishes. Sometimes I need a time-out to regroup, is all.
And good morning to you too! :)

A multicolored tapestry
a picture of humanity
of lives woven day by day
carrying pain along the way
some done in happy hours
some woven on the rack
and carried around on our back
like a dead weight sack of gloom
there ain't no sunlight in the room
Day and night become one
when comfort is the lesser light
and drinking tea alone at three
becomes the way to end the day
and long nights in cold beds
are really nothing to dread
Oh yeah that's why I get the blues.
