You'd have to find some scenic routes along the way, and I am not sure North Dakota would be included in that.

Hey, I drove about 2/3 of that route a couple months ago! I would recommend doing the North Dakota part during the night... nothing to see there. Nothing for miles and miles but miles and miles.
