I like that idea. PE and I aren't even close to being in the position to buy acreage, but we have talked about it, and what kind of house we might build on the land. To be honest, I don't like the idea of building. Yeah, you can get something the way you like it...but I've heard an awful lot of nightmares about going overbudget and overtime...plus I kinda hate to build yet another house when there are so many up for sale.
But I'm not sure I'd buy one in Vermont, anyway, if I did have enough to buy one. I'd want something rural and somewhere with four seasons...but might not stay up here for the long haul. It's not exactly something I have any right to think about right now anyhow! ;-) But I can dream!
