Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Can't decide what to do....watch movies, listen to radio plays, or read.....any of those would go well with egg nog and bourbon.
Off to do dishes whilst Abbott and Costello download

Well, it's nice that, since everything was done before Thanksgiving (like I insisted before m-i-l moved in), then I can sit and relax and enjoy the holidays.

..... will it make it better if I send you a strand of hair? Appreciate the kindness m'lady. But I'd just have to get out the vacuum again.
To: 2Jedismom
Yes!! Wonderful stuff. I can eat it by the trainload. I'm of the butter and sugar sort myself, but just butter is OK too.

I'm prolly thinkin' somethin' a might stronger.
Sorry, I don't mean to whine all over the new thread. I'll be okay once I can get some sleep.

But I'd just have to get out the vacuum again.Oh no!!! Nobody wants to have to do that!
To: Wneighbor
Especially since I just moved Luke's high chair out the garage. We're giving it to a friend (hopefully this weekend). I mistakenly thought it had been vacuumed before I turned it on it's side...

Wow.
Didn't get to go much of anywhere except Lawton while I was there. :-(
I'm back in NY now, since 18Dec1996.
It snowed on the 17th, and we had our formation outside.
Well, the Lieutenant comes walking up the walkway and we all go to attention.
He says 'at ease' and looks guilty of something.
I yell, 'snowball fight with the cadre and hold series hooah!'
The Lieutenant yells, 'Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!' and is more psyched about this than anyone.
He spins to his left and drills Drill Sar Johnson in the back of the head with a snowball.
I never even saw the Xo make a snowball, so he must have already planned to nail someone with it.
But the chaos afterwards was great.
Typical stuff for so called "Undisciplined 13Bravos".

What's Lefse??? Are you mad??? :-)
It is a time-honored scandinavian tortilla-looking potato bread. It's Viking food. You roll it up and eat it. Usually with butter, sometimes sugar or cinnamon. Don't tell any of my relatives but I've also been known to melt some cheese inside it like a norwegian quesadilla.
