The Hobbit Hole V - Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

*from behind door number 3*
Yeah, it's a trick.
There ARE snacks in here.
But the second you step inside to get them the door slams and locks.

OK - We moved.... sorry we overstayed our welcome in the old thread.
We didn't know you had a preference!
How big should we let these get?

Hullo! I am back from taking Luke to the Doctor. Wife and Jr. are gone to a performance. So I will need to step away shortly for "Toy Story" duty. It's a good sign he wants to sit up and watch TV.
No strep, no virus (BTW PE - no tonsils, so no tonsilitus). Definitely the flu. So, we treat symptoms and make him comfortable. So far no respiratory distress or dehydration.

You say that like it's a bad thing. It is when the wife gets that dreamy expression whenever Orlando Bloom is on screen. ;)

the last one went to 65,535 - But Jim asked us to pack up and move.... apparently our weight was distressing the forum.
This new leaner hobbit hole was built quickly, but it seems homey enough!
Frodo looked round. It did look like home. Many of his own favourite things - or Bilbos things (they reminded him sharply of him in their new selling) - were arranged as nearly as possible as they had been at Bag End. It was a pleasant, comfortable, welcoming place; and he found himself wishing that he was really coming here to settle down in quiet retirement.

Well, he's sleeping again right now. But any minute I could here "Daddy I want to hold you," and I'll need to go.

Yup.
He'll be in and out for a bit.
When he's awake try to keep him drinking water.
Weak tea even.
