Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Lunchtime! Made some stuffed peppers for Hair today. Mmmmmm!

"Royal Twisted Marines" would make a good name for a band...

I'm just not real demonstrative...our music minister even in our traditional service tries to get us to "put-cher hands tuhgether now!" during the singing part. I feel stilted and awkward...
I know that that's how some people worship and I certainly don't think any less of ANYONE who worships our God the way they feel they should...but I just kinda resent it that I'm not allowed to worship the way I feel I should...I mean, I go to the traditional service because I'm looking for that more subdued and quiet form of worship. But our minister of music can't seem to make the differentiation.
We all gotta be rockin' in the aisles. They played "We are Family" this last Sunday and I nearly barfed.

There isn't a pregnant silence now when she comes up... but smiles, wistful ones, or sighs, but the best kind.... The kind when you remember to remember. You may have noticed that I cannot seem to help talking about my Grama. I notice when I go home though that I get those pregnant silences when I mention her. I always feel like I shouldn't have mentioned her but it just comes natural to me. Right out of my mouth without thinking. I think I make the others uncomfortable though.

Way cool to hear that the Iraqi chilled when he saw the HH Knife! Yeah! I like that part! I prayed over all those knives before they were mailed out too. They've got the fear of God in 'em! LOL

Maybe.... they may not know what to say, and that might make them uncomfortable.... But I doubt it is the thought of Grama that is uncomfortable.

I just don't feel like breaking out and shimmying when I'm worshiping...I mean it's a very serious intense thing for me...I believe that you can feel great joy and be deeply intense about it at the same time. I also believe you can feel great joy and shimmy around...I just don't worship that way!
That song "We are Family" is the lesbian THEME song, for cryingoutloud. It's DISCO and we all know what disco does!

I figured it was the one to one gear ratio between my brain and my mouth that made 'em uncomfortable. Far as I'm concerned she's still here with me... I just can't see her. And a lot of the stuff I say I'd be sayin' if she was in the room anyway. I hate to see them look like it makes 'em feel bad. I'd like that not to be.
