The Hobbit Hole V - Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
ecurbh

Posted on 12/11/2003 2:07:57 PM PST by ecurbh

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

I like Rudolph. It's not quite but almost as good as the Grinch!

This new job is terrific and I ain't complaining, but it sure isn't as wonderful as my last job was. Nothin' ever will be.

*snif*

Not for any of us Ruthy. We miss you a lot. It's been really nice this week with seeing your breakfasts there again! Almost the same... but you ain't here enough. :-(

I'm thinking that no matter how hard we all try, we'll definitely have Rocky Horror Picture Show type commentary going on during the first two movies. However, I expect that we'll all be too captivated to say more than a few whispered words or well-timed cheers during ROTK.

I'll have pictures of Becky ready soon! She lost another tooth today as well! LOL!! She's sporting a whole new look tonight.

I guess it's officially Christmastime. Charlie Brown was just on. I heard about 4-5 notes of the music and recognized it instantly. Funny how that works.

OH!!! That is always so CUTE!!! I need to see that. I heard my granddaughter Abby lost one - but I didn't get to see.

I am truly a Hobbit Hole addict and PROUD OF IT!

Now that they've invested money into my training and actually assigned me over a dozen clients who need me to get them paid, I'm no longer as easily dispensable. Thus, I will be cautiously bold in my Hobbit Hole postings as time goes on.

It's called "strategery"!!

Yep. It's a Wonderful Life is on too. I think I must be the only person in the world who thinks that is a depressing movie!

A nice juicy steak, since I missed the company party at Steak & Ale last night?

I've been sucking on soup for a day and half. It's getting old.

It is a good strategy IMO! I think I remember doing pretty much the same thing at the job I had before this one! :-)

I'm okay. Just tired. And trying not to pout. ;-)

Charlie Brown is my all time favorite Christmas special. We have that on VHS, along with Rudolph, Frosty and the Grinch (we have some lesser specials to, but those are the best).

I have the Vince Guaraldi soundtrack to Charlie Brown.

I know people think it's blasphemous, but I also love the Jim Carrey Grinch.

I like it, but every now and then I wanna say "Oh, blow it out yer shorts George!"

Didja ever see the SNL alternate ending to It's a Wonderful Life? The uncle remembered where he lost the money, so the town's people came in and beat the crap out of Mr. Potter.

I liked Jim Carrey's Grinch too, Corin.

Then again, I adore Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas, so there ya go. :-)
