I think you may have touched on it. He seems a bit edgier. I know, what should I expect given what he has gone thru. But this Dan's Bake Sale attendee would like just a bit more lightness. He gets any harsher and I'll start calling him Rush "Dr. Laura" Limbaugh!!! :<)))

My sister says the same thing.

I had gotten to the point where I wasn't listening much anymore and when I was it was because I felt like I needed a pep talk. So, yes, I do miss the optimism. The ordinary people doing extraordinary things mantra.

He has to work thru this rehab thing. I have had a close friend go throug rehab (a couple of times, we aren't friends anymore suffice to say). They all sound kind of like this when they get out, as far as I can tell.
