Chicken eggs are a critical component of the vaccine, and it is hard to make chickens lay several hundred thousand eggs on short notice. LOL! Yeah! Somethin' about 'animal cruelty', I think. (grin)

It's up to me?
What kind of convoluted logic is that?
The poster asked for more info from the kind folks here at FR. I would be asking for more info from Rush or go and find the info myself.

As for Rush, after listening to the past few minutes, I find his commentary and treatment of the two women callers totally insufferable...I chickened out and turned it off. I mean, I could just sense a train wreck coming....but that doesn't mean I'm not curious. What happened to/with those two gals?
(Oh, and I totally agree with the Freeper re: Rush's laugh. You know, the one where he apparently is laughing so hard he can't catch his breath? I listen to that and think either:
a) "It wasn't that funny." or,
b) "I don't get it. What's so funny?",or
c) "God, I hope this (laughing) is just an act and he isn't serious."

It's an honest belief, and thanks to the reference on Thomas Sowell, he's great.

August 1993, when CONGRESS passed Mrs. Clinton's Vaccines for Children program.
Congress is responsible not Clinton.
Hillary, at that time, didn't make laws nor pass them.

Thanks.

Clinton passed it through the Democratic Congress.

OK, so tell me again why Hillary is responsible and not Congress?

So a law, passed in 1993, that allows the US government to buy 1/3 of the vaccines each year caused a shortage in 2003?
Did Rush blame Hillary last year when flu-vaccine doses were discarded because they went unused?
Rush's argument is just silly.

If the Kool-Aid tastes good, then so be it. The fact of the matter is that Rush was right, which was later backed up on this very thread.

It's rhetorical...
INCREASED DEMAND FOR VACCINE
Last year the vaccine manufacturers Aventis, Pasteur and Chiron had to throw away 12 million doses because so few people bothered to get flu shots.
Gerberding said 185 million Americans fall under the guidelines for getting the flu vaccine, but only between 70 million and 75 million usually are vaccinated.
For the last five years we have thrown a lot of flu vaccine away, she said. Last year the two companies made 95 million doses, but because of the 12 million doses left unused, they reduced that number this year to 83 million doses.
http://www.msnbc.com/news/1000823.asp?0sl=-30 It wasn't Hillary's fault, it was the CDC's fault for not projecting enough doses for production, and public's fault for not getting shots last year.

The train wreck has arrived. He seemed out of control and his rudeness to the caller was inexcusable. He said he doesn't have to apologyze anymore. Kind of sad but not unexpected considering the pressure being exerted by his legal troubles.

For some reason he thinks sexual inuendo is amusing. Perhaps someone who really cares about him, not being paid to be a yes man, can advise Rush that the gutter is already occupied by the left and he need not go there.

He's laughing to make a point. It's his show. Live with it. If you don't like it, move along.

The spread of the flu was due to the fact that no one had the proper vaccine. Normally when a large portion of the population gets the flu shot it curtails the spread....
Some may have been made ill by the vaccine itself.
