I suggest you hold off til next year so you can start by watching the theatrical release of The Hobbit (you just know Jackson already has most of it in the can) and then go home and watch all three extended editions of TFOTR, TTT, and TROTK. That would make for something like only fifteen (15) straight hours of viewing.
