Oh yeah??? Well the next verse readeth -- oops, reads:

'Remember always
You men in pain
Your womenfolk need
This way to be trained.

For altho we have ego
And elan and brawn,
Fear well the woman
Who needs to be fawned.

Remember always
Ye men of the faith,
This is the One True Way
To induce women to give chase!

So endeth the gospel, according to Mark....

I would refer you to Mark Twain's description of his first lie. It will tell you all you need to know about men and pain and suffering.

Twain said on his first day on this earth he had a very sick tummy after being fed. So he started to cry. And his mommy picked him up held him and burped him. It felt so good that he stopped crying .. .so she put him down.

On the second day of his life he recalled the wonderful feeling of his momy holding him so he told his first lie. He started to cry even thought his tummy was fine.. and sure enough she came picked him up nurtured him and made him feel so very good. Twain said it was the first lie he ever told.

It is a technique all baby boys learn and never forget. When they are boys they use it on their mommy. When they are men they use it on their wives, when they are old men they use it on their daughters.

Men crave the nurturing attention of the women they love. They will do what ever it takes to get her care. Being a little sick and pretending to be a lot sicker is just one way to get it. Men can't help it. Twain was the rule .. not the exception. We all knew how to do it before we were two days old.
