So, 60 billion dead and the show focused on a kid with a robot dog!

And this differs from our current news media in what way? 2,000+ murdered and incinerated Americans, 300,000 and counting tortured & murdered Iraqis, a world terror war still going on and our media focuses on Laci Peterson, Michael Jackson, and a car chase or two in LA.

The media was out to lunch on most every bloddy incident which led up to 911 too.

If there was a robot dog involved you can bet the TV & Cable news would be all over it like tobasco on red beans.

Let's see, how does it differ?

Well, the "newsies" in "real world" view those who kill kids (in utero) as public heroes while those who would prevent this are portrayed as elementally evil sorts.

When it comes to robot dogs, the "newsies" simply ignore them, probably out of fear the dogs will take their jobs.

As I said, "Bagglegak" is/was just theatre.
