Occasionally while I'm FReeping, I'll click a thread so I can read it, but instead of taking me to that thread, it'll take me to a completely different site altogether. For example, the latest one it took me to is Golf Online. Does it have anything to do with my computer? Is there something I can do to fix it?

Try cleaning you cache, and deleting unnecessary cookies. You also might want to do a virus scan, etc to your computer.

Are you on cable? I had this random website redirect thing happening for a long time, and I think it is a bad DNS server within the cable network that gives wrong returns...

Clearing the DNS cache at the command prompt and doing a "repair" process at your connections control panel will at least clear out the cached IP address and give it the opportunity to give a good new return.... sometimes it'll work well for a long time, and sometimes not.

It isn't your computer, IF it is the same problem I had, and it isn't just FR either.... it can give you a bad return on any link.

Search the net for "Adaware" by lava soft. You could also try spybot search and destroy. It sounds like you could have some nasty spyware programs. These will remove them.
