You are talking about Miracle by Warsaw. And believe it was. My grandfather served under General Pilsudzki, and he witness what happened there. The Europe was saved by Most Holy Virgin Mary. On the eve of 1920, bolszewiks were at gates of Warsaw. They were ready to storm, and suddenly, on a blue sky there was lightning. Figure of Virgin Mary formed above the city. As in Chestochowa, when Swedish army tried to charge that city, so it happened in Warsaw. General Pilsudzki gave orders to attack. Communist army was in such a retreat, that not only they lost most of their equipment, but they lost a war. Unfortunately, 19 years later Poland was betrayed, then 6 years later, given under influence of Communist Russia, with most countries in Easter Europe.

Pilsudski did to the bolszewiks what Sobieski did to the Turkish hordes approximately 250 years before. What would Europe have done if the Poles had laid down like the French? But Poles never would. As we say in Texas, "You all would charge at hell with a bucket of water!" :D
