If the dates were 25-27, why are you posting this today? Today is the 28th. And who is the "Bureau Chief or some such..." ? This doesn't make any sense. the terrorists would abandon their plans because the clock ticked to a new day.

They have made abundantly clear that while calendar dates might be baseline planning themes, they would do what they set out to do whenever it became functionally servicable for them to accomplish their murderous deeds.

I don't see what is so hard to understand about this.
