I don't know that anyone does.

I doubt the President does. I doubt Ashcroft does. I doubt Condi Rice does. I doubt Bin Laden does.

There are toooooooooooo many largely unknown factors.

Bin Laden can give out orders. Thousands of factors can intervene or delay on a natural level as well as in the spiritual realm impacting the natural level/dimension.

President Bush can give out orders for protective actions based on whatever quality of intelligence. Who knows the quality of the the intelligence. Who knows the quality of individuals following Bush's orders.

And who knows the disinformation games on all sides.

God knows. Let His Spirit guide our prayers and our alertness, preparations.

But the watchman has a duty to warn. Individual responsibility is between the individual and God, IMHO.

Of course, I trust in God too, especially in these times.

But what I meant was not the credibility of the reports of an attack, but rather the credibility of the reports that DHS is quietly initiating RED-level procedures.

If that were true, I could at least wrap my mind around the idea that something hot is going on. But, is that report of initiation of RED-level procedures actually true? That's what I meant about credibility.
