Personally I think we are in this kind of danger pretty well consistently. Personally, I think it's a bunch of bunk. The gummint issues these warnings to keep the sheeple in their pens and also as a CYA memorandum...in case anything might happen.

I don't fault them the CYA. From that perspective, it's a no-win if they don't take some steps, however fruitless they may seem. There is at least solid attempts at coordination between agencies. What would you have them do? And, what sheeple are in pens because HomSec sends out warnings? If anything, the sheeple turn only a glazed eye to what's going on around them unless they are stuck with a pin and made to wake up and pay attention.
