I have never had that happen. But if you are logged into two different computers and you read the 'new posts to you' on one, and then go read the same ones on the other that could cause it. I think.

I suppose that could be, but I always use the "Most Secure" setting when I log in, which means that even if I forgot to log out sometime earlier on another machine, it's supposed to log me out automatically when I log out of the new session. So I should be completely logged out of everything except the one I'm typing on right now.
