On this Thanksgiving, let us not forget the wonderful episode on "WKRP in Cincinnati" in which the station concocted the idea of a "turkey drop" in which people from the station went up in a hot air balloon and dropped frozen turkeys.
Except Herb got it wrong, and dropped live turkeys, not knowing they couldn't fly.
Les Nessman, the newsman, reported live from the scene, "Oh, the horror, the horror. They are hitting the ground like sacks of wet cement!"

Wouldn't be surprised to see it on TVLand ... they usually run KRP on the weekends but they are good about "timely" programming.

Doh. I meant "live" turkeys, but that they thought turkeys could fly. Sorry I screwed it up---but everyone here seems to know the story!!

Who was hotter? Jan Smithers (Bailey) or Loni? Loni...by far. I loved Bailey until I got to see her up close. Sadly for her, her complextion wasn't the best. But you decide...

"Doh. I meant "live" turkeys, but that they thought turkeys could fly. Sorry I screwed it up---but everyone here seems to know the story!!" I will never forget this episode. I was at home with my mom and dad and we had some friends over and WKRP was on so we all watched. by the end of the show most of us were on the floor.
My stomach hurt for two days, I laughed so hard!

Bailey was hotter than nuclear fusion. The thing about Bailey was she exuded an innocence but at the same time her personality hinted that she would not be so naive when it counted (if you get my drift). She was the kind of girl you'd take home to meet your mother (when mom and dad were gone for the weekend).

The thing about Bailey was she exuded an innocence but at the same time her personality hinted that she would not be so naive when it counted She took Dr Johnny Fever home to stay with her when Fever was ousted from his digs.
Back at work, she came in wearing Fever's sweatshirt. Herb immediately squawked. And innocent Bailey said,
"I grabbed the nearest thing to put on. I was naked, Herb."
Herb's jaw dropped to the floor.
And the rabid audience was left to decide, Did they, or didn't they?

Yeah. Unfortunately, it links to a .ram file and you need Real Player to play it. RP is spyware and I won't let it anywhere near my system.
