(for Flurry his upcoming marraige) We, my husband and myself, have just entered into the empty nest stage. It's taking me awhile but my husband is dragging me along.

Sending my kids to college to live on campus made the empty nest thing more gradual and less painful.

So many of our friends are entering the empty nest stage, and here we are practically just starting out!!!

Hubby was teased unmercifully by some of his former HS classmates when I was pregnant - a bunch of them were already grandfathers!!!!
