    The Echo of Life

A man and his son were walking in the forest.
Suddenly, he trips and feeling a sharp pain he
screams, "Ahhhhhh!" Surprised, he hears a voice
coming from the mountain, "Ahhhhh!" Filled with
curiosity, he screams, "Who are you?" but the only
answer he receives is, "Who are you?" This makes
him angry, so he screams, "You are a coward!" and
the voice answers, "You are a coward!"

He looks at his father, asking, "Dad, what is going on?"

"Son," the man replies, "pay attention!" Then he screams, "I admire you!" The voice answers, "I admire you!"

The father shouts, "You are wonderful!" and the voice
answers, "You are wonderful!"

The boy is surprised, but still can't understand what
is going on.

The the father explains, "People call this an 'echo' but truly it is 'life!' Life always gives you back what you give out.

Life is a mirror of your actions. If you want more love, give more love. If you want more kindness, give more kindness. If you want understanding and respect, give understanding and respect. If you want people to be patient and respectful to you, give patience and respect. This rule of nature applies to every aspect of our lives."

Life always give you back what you give out. Your life is not a coincidence, but a mirror of your own doings.

    Midst pain and laughter
a smile does start
from pinched corners
of a mouth it does
grow into a grin
that says we win
no matter what life
tosses our way.

Thank You, Dear Silly Rabbit.

    Morning Darksheare!!

You snowed in?? There is a lot of snow here in my city.
To: bentfeather
    Iced in actually.
There's a quarter to half inch of ice over the snow here.
Makes the shoveling interesting.

    Sunflowers

 Sunflowers are obedient,
 to the sun's eternal light.
Drawn upward by the sun's warm rays,
they praise Him, day and night.

 Their constant obedience
 to the radiance from above,
is seen in their growth and beauty,
 a reflection of their love.

 They are a simple flower,
 not chosen for their frame,
 yet other flowers model them
and look upward just the same.

 There are a thousand flowers
could be chosen for a bouquet,
 their color and their fragrance,
 a glorious display.

Yet the glory of the sunflower,
(for it's not a lowly weed,)
is often seen by man and beast
for they bless us with their seed.

My sister twisted up an already twisted poem.
She rewrote Jabberwocky...
Alright, I'll admit to some small assistance.
But it's really weird now.

There may be ice here as well. I have not ventured off the front porch. :-(

It's still snowing.
To: Darksheare
    I barely remember reading Jabderwocky.

    It has stopped here.
For now.
The rain snow line is far north of me now.
I'm in Orange County, southern NY state.
And we're still considered 'upstate'.

Jabberwockey (As best as I can get it copied)

'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!"

He took his vorpal sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought--
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
And stood awhile in thought.

And, as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!

One two! One two! And through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.

"And hast thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjoyous day! Callooh! Callay!"
He chortled in his joy.

'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.
