My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guides we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and I...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Morning Sam!
I am liking the poem today very much. I have been to BonAire in the Carribean. It's a very small island, 17 miles long and 3 miles wide. The best swimming ever.
Thanks for Breakfast and tunes.
To: snippy_about_it
Yup, that is my fault.
Despite me trying to pawn it off on someone else..

I have been having work done, painting, new washer drier connect, (complete plumbing job water lines drains, etc. ) chandeliers hung, electricians, so forth.
Well this painted in one months time has not finished one room. My home has been in turmoil all this time. I think he was deliberately making the job gone on and on. He started to paint one of the 2 windows last night and left it uncompleted and when home for the night.
I told him this morning I want this brought to an end and him out of my home. This is the second time I have told him that. Well, today he painted one coat on the woodwork and said adios.
I can do just as good if not better a job that he.
To: bentfeather
Wow, the neverending contractor.
You could sue him for that, but I'm not sure the exact burden of proof about it.
I'd have put the fear of me into the guy.. but that's me.

Sounds like your landlord was taken for a ride then.

Hopefully your landlord will get this corrected soon.

Well, they went high school together. The painter is retired from his job and was looking for extra bucks so he went to see the lawyer/landlord. There is always so much work he has to have done as he owns many houses.
I just really got burned out over this constant upheaval in my home. It's had for me to write because of the turmoil.I need to get my book ready to be sent to the publishers. Too, much going on. And I have to constantly be off my computer because he had to paint in those areas.
Now if I can just settle down in the midst of so much mess, I can't find anything. I am constantly on a search for things.

Aren't part of those Gaelic lyrics translated as "Come away with me my love"?

I heard the song I'm referring to once, and have been looking for it since.
Obviously, I haven't found it.

Waves caressing the shores
waiting a sunrise
my balance was on seaweed
and soft sands
Our future was dormant
my love once yours, diminished
is in the seas...
