My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guides we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and I...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Oh, I like the poem. I guess, I used the word in a strange way. That poem came from anger.

I read the piece, Woo Hoo! Not so strange. Reminded me a little bit of of movie I saw and can't remember the title right now.
Burt Reynolds stared in it.

Oh.
*Flickering light of recognition behind the caffeine deprived eyes*
I can see that now, interesting.

That story short on the DD thread was inspired by lack of caffiene and the pic posted above it.

That'd be 'Deliverance' with Ned Beatty(spelling?) as well.

A quote to me from the DD thread a long time ago, "Sometimes I post things and cringe wondering what odd story the demons in your head will make out of it."

Well.. something I wrote on 5/29/2002...

I am jealous of those who have beautiful yards. Here in southern New York, the only things that seem to grow better than grass and ornamental bushes (bush?) are onions, roses, and scraggly weeds.

And here we join our intrepid little adventurer as he wanders through his life. Oh look! Here he is in the wilds of Africa on a big game hunt! Doesn't he look grand standing there by those tall bushes with his helmet on? And my, look at that huge lion behind him! And there goes our intrepid little adventurer...
Join us next week on his trip through the digestive tract of a big cat!
No, this has absolutely no tie in at all. It just popped into my head with a 'high class narrator' voice....

I wrote something years ago when I first started writing that is really wild. I will dig around for it. It was written in the late 1970s early 80s.
It's about giant shrimp and fog.
You ain't so weird.

Snowflakes

Snowflakes spill from heaven's hand
Lovely and chaste like smooth white sand.
A veil of wonder laced in light
Falling Gently on a winter's night.
Graceful beauty raining down
Giving magic to the lifeless ground.
Each snowflake, a falling star
Smiling beauty that is spun afar.
Snowflakes spill from heaven's hand
Lovely and chaste like smooth white sand.
Till earth is dressed in a robe of white
Unspoken poem the hush of night.

Morning Sam!
Love today's poem. So pretty.
Your song selections this morning are lovely and fit my mood very well.
Have I told you how much I appreciate you?
Thank You.
To: Darksheare
You will find it. I am still looking for Poet's poem to me and my response. *sigh*
I know I have it someplace.
To: bentfeather
You're welcome Feather.
Nice to see FR have a place for poets to get together and I enjoy providing the music.

My world, a silent symphony of love becomes lost when you fear my whispers will end as love embracing confusion..
The world is dark The oncoming headlights like a train Your face passes me Next to his We meet, we pass, we part Tears from my soul Burn inside and out Why?
