My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guides we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and I...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Unrelenting clocks marking a lifetime is love a constant desire will time end desire? Am I laughing, as a reminder of things soft and unknown expiration...

Oh my gosh no!! The painters got in an argument, I have been snapping the bosses' head off.
Progress report to date, 3 weeks time.
Chandelier hung. Living room ceiling completed, frieze area completed, dark rose color, picture trim molding completed, color, new penny, left to do the sidewalls, woodwork. The painter told me I'll see you Monday. I lost it and told him tomorrow, I want this thing done now. He said, "It's Saturday, I said , I don't care, I want this done now. Hang in there Doo, we both will have to support one another.
To: bentfeather
Good grief!! That's
all they've gotten done in three weeks?!!!! SHEEESH!!! I believe I could've gotten more done than that and I have a bad back!
Hang in there....and stay on those guys!
Looks like you've got some luv-erly weather up your way. BRRRRRRRRR!!!!!

Well that's only the living room. The bedroom ceiling is done, the kitchen is done, the bathroom is nearly done.
The most distressing thing for me is the constant upheaval of my living. Too, I have had plumbers in here, electricians here, so it's getting unnerving. Last week the painters did not work after Tuesday because he went out of town for Thanksgiving. This week they did not start until Wednesday.

'feather,
sorry to have been absent so long, so here is a small offering for you.
Trike
Private Fire
Lips as soft as a summer zephyr,
caressing me with subtle grace.
Finger tips that touch and teasing err,
to make me feel the fire reflected in her face.
Passion grows to envelope both again,
setting hearts afire with common need.
As senses burning where we have lain,
shattering enjoined souls like storm tossed reeds.
Soft the cries of passion spent,
as two hearts surrender to the need to rest.
Shuddering release and fading embrace is rent,
by gentle sleep to end loves test.
Silence fills the moment now as bodies cool in peace,
and both are left on passions shore like shipwreck castaways.
Perfection is this moment as two hearts still beat as one, into surcease
and nothing matches this space and time, as the world is held at bay.

Wow Trike, that's absolutely beautiful, as only you can write.
So fine to have to stop around in your busy life. I know you are working very long hours. How you manage to write poetry is beyond me.
Thanks again and take of you.

Still, I know you're about ready to say "I GIVE UP!!" aren't ya?

Looks like I'm gonna have to say "adios". *sigh* Gotta go. See ya soon.

My world, a silent symphony of love
becomes lost when you fear
my whispers will end
as love embracing confusion..

This is wonderful :) .. you're inspiring me to try again. Thank you for sharing!
Sounds like you had a difficult day with the painters. I sympathize. I hope your evening went better than your day seems to have gone!

Oh my goodness, I didn't think you were on.
Thank you, Colonel.
I have posted a wonderful song for everyone.
Sit back and listen, if you wish.
This too shall pass. It's just rough ploughing now. I like my own sense of crazy arranged by me, not strangers in my house.
LOL
To: Colonel_Flagg
Colonel, would you care to write with me?
Response writing??
