[Soaring Feather]

My Dragon Fly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guides
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and I...

And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

I have some haiku between SAM and I too but alas, I have to pack up and SAM says I can't dilly-dally. LOL.

I'll save it for another time. I have to hustle here so I can get to sleep early. I have a very early wake up call coming!! Yippee.

I hope so too. I'm going to try my best to sleep a few hours. I'm pretty 'wired' right now though. Last minute stuff, fearing I'll forget something!

You'll be fine, but I remember me this past fall. There were a few sleepless nights. I was told I am organized could hardly believe that one about myself. I guess if I am focused I do okay.

Thank you. I always take along more than I need but always afraid I'll forget something. Oh, well. I'm as packed as I can be and about 8 hours to go, only 5 until I have to wake up and here I am typing away. Good night feather, we'll holler when we get back to SAM's place. I ended up getting KNOCKED offline yesterday for a while due to some idiot finding the only patch of ice on the road for miles around and getting an instant date with a telephone pole.
So while they patched the phonelines back together, and we dealt with the sliming of the network afterwards here, we were offline.
