My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guides we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and I...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

if the shaman whispers
of crystal and opal stones

I am posting my thoughts about Snippy because I want her to know how I see her through my eyes.
It is my opinion that Snippy has much more wonderful poetry to show and have us experience. FReepers that know Snippy and FReepers who will get know her, through her poetry, that Snippy shares publicly. I am keeping my eyes wide open, cause I do not want to miss one thing she is willing to share with us. I truly believe there more beautiful things, and sad too, to are going to come out of Snippy. Snippy may not even believe this, but she has deep emotions and thoughts in her heart/soul that will come out. My hope is that she will share them with us.
I wanted to let Snippy know that she is wonderful and glad that I have had the pleasure for her continue friendship.

You're correct Do The Dew. You can see that she writes with her feelings. I find it hard to believe she has only been righting prose for such a short time. She seems to have a natural talent for it.

I wanted to 'publicly' tell her that she has found her artistic side. When composes a prose (is that the correct word usage?)she has composed the piece for people to understand what she thought or emotion she was wanting to stand out. Snippy, in my opinion, is able to show understood feelings with out the reader at the end of the prose scratching their head, thinking what was that about. FYI - I am such a person.
I will be hearing from her today, at least she'll call. I like keeping Snippy on her toes.

I would also like you to know, I enjoy your poetic offerings. As you probably notice, I lurk mostly. Tonight I am feeling good. FReepers in general do not get enough praise for stating things that are tough facts and need to be in black and white.
Snippy and you are my first people to acknowledge (for me) that I enjoy your submissions and great humor.
Keep up the great things both of you do. I appreciate.

You're welcome, Do The Dew.
I wish I could write as well as some of the sothers, but I have to struggle and it doesn't come out very well, so I find other people's poetry I enjoy and share at at the Lair.

~This and That~
Native to the Mediterranean area, sage has been used for centuries in cooking, particularly as the main herb in
present-day Thanksgiving turkey stuffing. It is also
considered a healing herb. A tea made with sage is
especially useful as a mouth rinse and gargle for mouth sores, ulcers, and sore throats. It may also be used as a digestive aid.
To: bentfeather
Good morning feather. Busy day today.
Do you have any special Thanksgiving Day plans?
Snippy will be catching up on Foxhole work and enjoying a quiet day, yippee!

Ah yes snippy, I will be going to my number 3 daughter's home. My hockey star grandson is coming home, woo hoo!!
There will be ten of us for dinner. My daughter has a huge house and can handle all of us. Some of my girls have other plans, in-laws, etc. My #3 daughter's friend and his parents will be attending the dinner with us.
It will be nice to see everyone again.

Good morning, everyone ..
I hope everyone is off to a good start on the day before their holiday. Looking for a little jumpstart myself and this time it has nothing to do with Darksheare's coffee :)
Happy day to all!

I have Friday off, and I really need it to recharge my batteries. For reasons you know, it has been a difficult week. Do you have any uplifting prose you could spare? :)
