[Soaring Feather]

My Dragon Fly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guides
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and I...

And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

I've got a little ditty for you feather and Darksheare;

heading out to Oregon
gonna visit SAM and have some fun

if you could keep an eye on the Foxhole
we'd appreciate it a ton

Hey there feather and Darksheare,

I'm headed out to Oregon in a couple days, Wednesday to be exact. SAM and I will be posting the threads everyday and really we are just hanging out together so we won't be gone from the Foxhole too much.

We do have one full day for sure that we've been planning and that's my "promised trip to the coast". Depends on the weather as to what day we go but we'll let you know. Most other days we'll be around.

We may go up to Washington one day to see some wolves, that might be a long day too. When we do head out for long days we'll let you know and we'd appreciate it if you could check in at the foxhole or at least keep an eye on the comments for us now and then.

Thank you! I'll post a notice at the Foxhole tomorrow that I'm on vacation (again) but that we should be available more than we were on previous vacations.

holiday cheer
our neighbor's Christmas lights
stay up all year

You ain't kidding. We have strong wind gusts and blowing snow a few minutes ago.

I rammed around so much this summer I have to save up for next summer.

Plus I am scared to death of that Chicago airport. I think I would have to change planes there.

I flew Delta and avoided Chicago like the plague. The reason being they don't have walking sidewalks or aides, or so I am told.

There's more than Chicago, I went by way of Minneapolis the first trip, second through Chicago, this time through Denver and return through Chicago. There are some that go through Texas and some Nevada. Chicago is scary I'll admit!
