That's Sam our youngest cat wanting the chipmunk.
My cats only get to hunt indoors these days because of coyotes, but they love to camp at the windows and sliding doors to watch squirrels, chipmunks, oppossums and raccoons come to eat.
The second youngest,
Molly is the only one hungry enough to catch what few mice get in the house and then all the cats join in the fun and the mouse dies of a heart attack.

Beautiful cat and photography!I have my now deceased kitty's daughter on my lap.She weighs twice as much and is an indoor cat..She enjoys chasing the tiny little lizards that sometimes enter the house.I've rescued a few but they are so small and hide easily.
Had a pair of baby racoons in the atrium after the hummingbird feeders one night and she sat at the window howling!

You are fortunate to have you huntress's daughter. Our cats are all strays and are very happy with their life here. Besides small animals to watch, there are four birdfeeders within sight of cat-accomodating windows. But they enjoy making us laugh so much they deserve us footing the entertainment
