I was just reading about the
GAMEWhen I read about games like this I always think about what a thrill it would be to be officiating the game at this level. I had to make a decision years ago, and chose career over football...was going to try to make a run at college officating. It is very difficult to break into, there are thousands of applications for each vacancy.

Officiating is one of the ultimate "old-boys" clubs.
You made the right decision, imo.

It was amazing......true Americana at its finest (and a few buttheads trying to make it weird). 112,200 in attendance. ESPN game day, with over 100,000 surrounding the stadium that watched outdoor tv's set up around their campers.....totally insane! The ABC poll they took for "rivalry day" asked about all the rivalries and which was the best and toughest. There are over a dozen of them....but Michian/Ohio State took 72% of the total vote for #1....and this year it was a great game, both teams played their hearts out. Ohio State hits harder than any team I've seen in a long time....amazing that Michigan won going away. I'm still in shock.
