I don't think opera is his favorite - he just loves to perform. He has a bunch of instruments. Has played some of them for me over the phone and sings a variety of songs.

We went there once on the spur of the momemt in fall of 92. When we arrived we looked up a couple of motels, deciding against one of the famous "opry" ones. Next morning we woke up and found that George Bush Sr took a last minute, unscripted campaign swing there and had stayed in our second choice that night.
